Two Centuries is a representative of a conversation between two generations. The Chief tries to comfort a young warrior concerned about the plight of his people: "Our people have over 10,000 years of history and our beliefs reach back millions of years. What you are so overwrought with is the happenings of the last 200 years, a relatively short time in the history of our people. Reach back into the past you are discarding, into the strength of our people, and carry forth with faith in your tribe and the Creator."
